According to incomplete statistics from the CESA Energy Storage Application Branch's industry database, in August, Zhejiang added a total of 451 energy storage filing projects, with a total installed capacity of 453.56MW/908.21MWh and a planned total investment of over 6.011 billion yuan. Among them, there are 436 project-type projects with a total investment of over 2.261 billion yuan; 15 industrial projects with a total investment of over 3.75 billion yuan, accounting for 61.56% of the investment amount.

From the application scenario perspective, in August, the energy storage projects filed in Zhejiang were mainly user-side projects, totaling 429, accounting for over 95%. The total installed capacity is 270.56MW/566.21MWh, with an investment amount of 1.296 billion yuan.

There are 3 grid-side projects with a total scale of 137MW/274MWh and a total investment of 416 million yuan. There are 4 power-side projects with a total scale of 46MW/68MWh and a total investment of 450 million yuan.

In terms of energy storage duration distribution, there are a total of 410 projects with a duration of 2 hours, accounting for nearly 96%; there are 2 projects with a duration of over 4 hours.

User-side 566.21MWh total investment 1.996 billion yuan

According to incomplete statistics from the CESA Energy Storage Application Branch's industry database, in August, the user-side projects filed in Zhejiang totaled 429, with a total installed capacity of 270.56MW/566.21MWh and a total investment of 1.996 billion yuan.

Among them, the number of commercial and industrial energy storage projects is 389, with a total installed capacity of 258.7MW/539.6MWh, accounting for 95.3% of the user-side scale. The investment amount is 767 million yuan.

In terms of scale, there are 257 micro-projects with a capacity of less than 1MWh, accounting for over 66% of the total number, among which the most common project has a scale of 200kW/430kWh, with 40 projects. There are 111 small projects with a capacity between 1MWh (inclusive) and 5MWh (inclusive), accounting for 28.53%. It can be seen that projects with a scale of less than 5MWh account for over 90% of the total number.
